I am a specialist dyslexia tutor and assessor. I have worked as an adult literacy tutor with Mayo, Sligo & Leitrim Education & Training Board since 2006. I became a dyslexia specialist in 2015 after seeing a great need in the adult population for specialist and targeted tuition that met their unique needs. I then went on to become a qualified specialist assessor so that I could provide further insight into the learning needs of the adults I was working with. I went on to complete my Masters of Education in 2022.
My training was carried out with Dyslexia Action (dyslexiaaction.org.uk) in conjunction with Middlesex University.
I am a Member of the Dyslexia Guild (MDG) and Patoss.
I assess adults only but provide specialist tuition for both children and adults.
